Changing Scenes goes international
Changing Scenes the film making Employability Project developed and run by the Highland Employer Coalition and Skills Development Scotland was recently showcased at a conference in Oslo of a new European Grundtvig project. One of the aims of the project is to create teaching tools for learners of a second language that can be adapted for use within the 5 partner countries (Norway, Sweden, France, Italy and Scotland).
Representatives from the Inverness Workers Education Association, who had viewed the DVDs created by Changing Scenes participants, were so impressed with the project that they were keen to use the lessons learned with a view to adapting it for ESOL learners (English for Speakers of Other Languages). The project and the DVD were well received and we welcome the opportunity of working with Workers Education Association in the future.
